good day

yesterday was a good day. the weather was perfect. it was the first the i could walk out in a tank top and a t shirt without feeling cold. so i woke up to go for the mamak day, which was an eating event organised by the malaysian society. paid five bucks for free flow of friend bee hoon, curry chicken, prata, and teh. tasted quite ok. ate picnic style - sitting down on the grass and chit chatting. basked in the good weather.

later went to woden for shopping. my friend dave, who bought a car, drove us over there. the dude took a wrong turn and took us on a scenic tour of canberra. luckily the weather was really nice, so we enjoyed the view on our way there. saw people having picnics by the lake, and even some couple just parking their cars by the side of the road, in the middle of nowhere and just lying on the grass sun tanning. weird.

so we finally got to woden and started shopping. ended our shopping adventure with some nice donuts at krispy kreme. the very famous krispy kreme thats only available in nsw (sydney) and my very ulu town canberra. they dont even have it in brisbane. yes! we bought like 2 dozens of it and brought it back. its that nice.
