records

bought two albums on friday. old ones, if u consider it old, but good nonetheless. i realised that old albums are really really good, and new ones just keep disappointing me time and time again, wasting my time and money.

anyways, the albums that i bought are alanis morisette's jagged little pill, and sarah mclachlan's mirrorball.

i have to say, that both albums are fantastic. and i only buy stuff which are worth my money these days. i guess i've always been one who pays more attention to the lyrics, thats why. both albums are really different, the alanis one being so sarcastic, which actually turns out to be pretty funny especially in songs where she totally slams her ex. haha.. clever lyrics. on the other hand, the sarah mclachlan one is a live album of her tour, with her best songs sung live. a much more subtle and mellow album. soothing.. have to say that she's a great songwriter whose lyrics are really good. now she makes me want to buy more of her albums which are studio recorded. hmm, and the song sheet to play it on the piano and guitar. not that the live ones are not good, it actually sounds more real than studio albums, which is good, plus the guitars sound better.

geri pls return me my cd asap!

so now, i have a wish list!
  1. sarah mclachlan's surfacing and solace albums = $28
  2. sarah mclachlan's surfacing song book = $35 approx
  3. nirvana's nevermind album = $20
  4. dashboard confessional's places you have come to fear the most and swiss army romance albums = $exhorbitant amount from rip off hmv

just realised that they are all music stuff and they cost so much. guess i'll have to work really hard after A's.
